ABOUT SAT

What is SAT?

The SAT is an entrance exam used by most colleges and universities to make admissions decisions. It is a multiple-choice and Student produced response, computer based test administered by the College Board.

Why You Should Take the SAT

The SAT measures knowledge of subjects learned in the classroom, including reading, writing, and math, and how well you can apply that knowledge outside of the classroom. The SAT helps colleges get to know you better by giving them insight into how you think, solve problems, and communicate.

A good score is a must for students applying in foreign universities along with earning scholarships and financial aids. Lastly, it is a widely held belief and our experience also indicates that if you do well on SAT you will also do well on the aptitude tests of local universities.

Is it better to appear in SAT more than once?

Yes, usually your score improves from one attempt to another. If you have some good days of preparation its better to gave it twice especially for students applying in university with a compulsory SAT requirement.

When do I get the result

You can view your score report online between 10 to 15 days after you took the test. Your official score report will be provided to you and your high school, if you included the code, about five weeks after the test. Students who register online and wish to receive a paper score report by mail in addition to the online score report must request it when they register. Students who register by mail and who do not have active College Board online accounts will continue to receive paper score reports.

How long after the test can I use my scores?

SAT scores are valid for five years after the testing year in which you tested. However, this varies from university to university.
