The MBA (MIS) is a regular program at
the City Campus. It consists of 25 courses and a
final project of two months. It requires two years
comprising of four regular semesters and two months
for completion. During the Summer Semester students
complete an Internship arranged through the IBA
Placement Office. The Internship is a degree
requirement. After the 25 courses, a comprehensive
examination must be cleared as a partial requirement
for the MBA degree. Students are allowed six courses
per semester. Students are not permitted any
employment except the IBA-arranged internships.
This program consists of 66 credit hours spread over
22 courses. The programs exposes the students to an
excellent blend of IT and Business Courses.
Graduates of this program specialize in the filed of
Business Systems Analysis and Project Management.
Applicants to the MBA
program must
have a bachelor's degree (with a minimum of 60%)
from recognized university in any area of study. The
IBA also accepts holders of professional degrees (B.E.,
M.B.B.S., etc). Students who have qualified for a
Bachelor’s degree must have:
I. Minimum 16 years of
education (without failure)
II. Minimum 60% marks
at terminal level or minimum 2.50 (at a
scale of
4.00) CGPA where applicable
To enroll in this
program requires the candidates to qualify in the
following stages:
