This degree program
develops an MBA whose perspective is that of a
generalist cum specialist. The student is exposed to
general business studies and then focuses in the
area of Marketing Communications. The student gains
an insight into the area of Marketing, Management
Information Systems and Visual Arts Studies,
relevant to Marketing Communications. This degree
creates an effective marketers, who understands
Marketing in-depth, than a general MBA majoring in
Marketing.

Students can take a
minimum load of 12 credit hours (four courses) or a
maximum of eighteen credit hours (six courses) in a
regular semester (fall, spring). A three credit hour
course on Business Ethics has to be taken in
addition to the six-semester load in one of the
semesters.
Students who are weak in
English & Communication Skills are required to take
an additional “Business English” course to enhance
knowledge of the language to become at par with
other students.
During the final
semester a course of “Interpersonal Communication
Skills” is also offered. This prepares them for GMAT
teaching technique, methods for improving their
score and saving time on all questions.

CBM students who have
completed BBA (Honors) have the option of joining
this specialized degree of one year duration. All
foundation and core business courses are exempted
and the students are required to take only
specialized courses in the field of Marketing
Communications. The students are required to
complete thirty nine credit hours in two regular
semesters, i.e. thirteen courses of three credit
hours each. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA for
conferment of the degree.
Students must take a minimum load of twelve credit
hours (four courses) or a maximum load of eighteen
credit hours (six courses) in a semester. Full load
of six courses can be taken each in the fall and
spring semesters with option for fewer courses in
the latter, making up the short fall in summer
session.
