The Course is designed for students preparing for
Institute of Chartered Accountant’s final exams and
for practicing accountants who have not acquired
ICAP qualification. The Masters Program requires
completion of 75 semester hours of course work, with
25 courses and a summer internship in a firm
approved by the College and a comprehensive
examination. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA for
conferment of the degree. The program has been
designed for those students who have background in
commerce, economics and accountancy. The MS
(Accountancy) curriculum is contemporary and
comprehensive. The program provides all the tools
and techniques needed for a successful career in
accountancy and for preparation for the Institute of
Chartered Accountancy professional examination.

Students can take a minimum load of 12 credit hours
(four courses) or a maximum of eighteen credit hours
(six courses) in a regular semester (fall, spring).
The
course is also offered to executives. The minimum
load students can take is six credit hours (two
courses), the maximum load being twelve credit hours
(four courses) in each of the three sessions (fall,
spring, summer).

Admission Eligibility
for Entrance into the MSc Program is based on any
one of the following:

A Bachelors degree
in Arts, Science, Law, Commerce, Engineering,
Medicine or Pharmacy, with at least 50% marks from
HEC/Provincial Government recognized and
Institute’s approved University in Pakistan

A final
qualification examination of a professional body
recognized by the University. For example, ACMA,
ACA.
