For BSc Honors Program
LUMS strives to arrange
financial assistance for students with genuine monetary
need. This assistance is also contingent upon the
student's overall merit. Financial aid is available on the
basis of need and merit in the form of scholarships and
loans. During the academic year 2003-2004, Rs 29.2 million
were granted as financial aid to deserving students.
Currently, around 26% of the students are getting
financial assistance in the following forms:

depending on the amount of loan.
All students are expected to make maximum contribution
towards their fee. Financial assistance is limited to the
tuition component only. Financial aid other than tuition

For MBA Program
LUMS is committed to
providing financial aid for all students with either a
genuine financial need, or whose standing in the merit
list deserves assistance. This is based on our
philosophy that no outstanding candidate will be ignored
because of the lack of funds. That is why admission to
the University is separate from the financial aid
decision. Financial aid is offered in the form of
scholarships and loans. Further details on repayment
terms for loans are available from the Student Affairs
Office.
Given the high cost of
providing quality management education in Pakistan, the
University has made a tremendous effort to raise funds
to ensure that no deserving candidate is turned away
from the programme due to insufficient funds. At
present, the following scholarships and loans are
available to students:
