knowledge that it imparts. The Institute of Business
Administration, Karachi, has been performing this task since
1955 with great distinction and responsibility.
Mostly the IBA graduates doesn't need
wait for the job offer; the offer is made to them before
they graduate.The almost 8000 IBA Alumni is not only
known for its merit,talent,capability and skills but also
are constantly offered managerial positions at the best
multi-national and national organizations.Today, the IBA
education is seen as the benchmark for Business
education.Its unique location has also earned it a great
demand; the two campuses are in the heart of the Provincial
capital of Sindh.
Not only is the IBA the oldest graduate business school in
the developing world, it is the first such institution
outside North America. The IBA has earned the reputation of
being one of the leading business schools in this part of
the world. It was established in April 1955 in collaboration
with the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce at the
University of Pennsylvania. Later, it was associated with
the University of Southern California. The United States
Agency for International Development (USAID) set up various
facilities at the Institute.
