This is an intensive
program integration engineering skill with
managerial know-how. The program has been designed
in close consultation with leading engineering
firms. A blend of management and engineering courses
make this program distinct from other engineering
courses. Another outstanding feature is provision of
on-hand training facilities in industrial units on a
continuous basis, which blends theory and practical
experience. Each final year student is required to
undergo an internship of 6 to 8 weeks in a reputable
engineering firm. This close collaboration increase
job opportunities and accessibility to higher
technical and managerial positions.
Students
must take a minimum load of twelve credit hours
(four courses) or a minimum load of eighteen credit
hours (six courses) in a semester. In order to
obtain the B.S. degree in 4 years, one would have to
cover twelve courses in a year. Full load of six
courses can be taken each in the Fall and Spring
semesters with option of four courses in the latter
and making up the shortfall in the summer session.
Admission Eligibility for Entrance is
based on any one of the following:
Secondary School Certificate (SSC)
with an aggregate average of at least 50%
5 ‘O’ level subjects with
a minimum of ‘C’ grade
Recognized overseas equivalent
qualification
To enroll in this
program requires the candidates to qualify in the
following stages:
